In 2021, CGC Comics gave away its very first pin, and since then, the pin giveaway has become a fan‐favorite at major comic cons and trade shows. Modeled after the iconic CGC Comics grade box, the pins represent a new way to collect and show your CGC love. But like all great collections, achieving a full set is not easy. Released CGC Pins and Their Rarity

Common = Widely available; Variant = Less available than Common; Exclusive = Limited quantity; Ultra Exclusive = Extremely limited

CGC Comics .5

Rarity: Common

The CGC .5 grade might be the lowest numerical grade that CGC Comics gives, but it is one of the most cherished additions to our pin giveaway.

CGC Comics 1.0

Rarity: Common

The CGC 1.0 pin was introduced in 2024 and is the second-to-lowest grade you can get on a comic. It gets a chuckle out of many, joking that it was supposed to be a CGC 10, but someone added a decimal point.

CGC Card 1

Rarity: Common

This pin debuted at Le Gala in Paris, France, in April 2025, before its wide release at Fanatics Fest NYC in June 2025. CGC 1 is the lowest grade you can get on a card, and while some may think this isn't great, many collectors get a kick out of receiving a Poor grade on their favorite cards.

CGC Comics 2.5

Rarity: Variant

The CGC 2.5 pin celebrates CGC's 25th anniversary in 2025! Starting at MegaCon, fans have the opportunity to obtain the 2.5 pin at shows, along with a special commemorative coin prize.

CGC Cards 9

So close to a Gem Mint 10, yet so far! This pin debuted at Le Gala in Paris, France, in April 2025, before its wide release at The National 2025. Be on the lookout for this pin and more at shows that CGC attends!

CGC Comics 9.6

Rarity: Variant

The CGC 9.6 pin made its debut in 2023. Darn, those color-breaking creases! Due to its unpopularity, it rarely makes an appearance in today’s pin giveaways.

CGC Comics 9.8

Rarity: Common

The CGC 9.8 pin is perhaps our most iconic grade pin. It is part of the OG collection that was released in 2021 and is still a very treasured pin.

This CGC Signature Series–themed pin, introduced as part of the Pin Giveaway at C2E2 2026, highlights our Autograph Grading service, which launched in 2025. Featuring the highest-possible grade for autographs, this gold-embossed pin with white and black enamel is sure to be a collector favorite.

CGC Comics 9.9

Rarity: Variant

The CGC Mint 9.9 pin has been a part of the mix since 2021 and has been a fan-favorite ever since — especially when the winner could walk away with the coveted CGC hoodie! This pin is more limited than the 9.8 pin, so it’s always a crowd-pleaser when it is pulled.

CGC Video Games 9.9

Rarity: Variant

This pin made its debut at Portland Retro Gaming Expo 2024 and features gold plating and retro gaming-style numbers. It will be available only at select CGC Video Games shows, making it less common than the other CGC Comics pins.

CGC Comics Gem Mint 10

Rarity: Exclusive

The CGC Gem Mint 10 pin causes a lot of shouts (more like screams) of joy, high-fives from friends and jealous stares from onlookers. It’s very limited and pulling one means you also walk away with your very own slabbed comic! Gem Mint, baby!

CGC Comics Gem Mint 10 — Glitter

And you thought Gem Mint 10 pin couldn’t get any better... Well, we added glitter, and hook the winner up with their very own CGC Signature Series-certified comic book! If the Gem Mint 10 pin is very limited this baby is ultra-limited.

Now that's more like it! This pin debuted at Le Gala in Paris, France, in April 2025, before its wide release at Fanatics Fest NYC on June 2025. CGC x JSA Autograph 10

This pin debuted at C2E2 2025 in the CGC Comics Pin Giveaway. It features gold plating and is modeled after the CGC x JSA autograph grade box on the back of a CGC x JSA comic label. This is the most exclusive reoccurring pin yet, with extremely limited quantities!

CGC Cards Pristine 10

The best of the best! Getting this golden grade is the highlight of collecting CGC-certified cards, so we made a shiny gold Pristine 10 pin to match! This pin debuted in 2024 and is given away to submitters at select shows.

This pin debuted at Fanatics Fest NYC in June 2025 and is extremely rare — only 50 were made, and they'll were only available during shows in 2025.

CGC 10 — CGC Registries

Launching July 2026, this Gem Mint 10 pin is exclusive to CGC Registry Award winners. Featuring the CGC Registries mascot, Reggie, this pin is designed to capture the fun — and friendly competition — of collecting what we love. Only award recipients can earn this pin, so prepare your best set!

CGC 10 — CGC Registries (Spooky)

Rarity: Ultra Exclusive

Debuting October 2026, this fun glow-in-the-dark Gem Mint 10 pin is exclusive to CGC Registry Spooky Award winners. Featuring the CGC Comics Spooky Awards mascot, Skelly, and his affectionate spider companion, this pin evokes the fun and playful side of collecting in the spooky season. Only award recipients can earn this pin, so prepare your best set!

CGC UAE Gem Mint 10

CGC loves our international fans, and to celebrate we created a pin based on the United Arab Emirates flag! With gold plating, enamel, an adorable heart, and vibrant flag colors, this pin will make an excellent addition for international pin collections.

This pin was given out at Portland Retro Gaming Expo 2023 in honor of the 1st birthday of CGC Video Games. The numbers are in a retro gaming style, with the 1 fashioned to look like a birthday candle. Unlike the other enamel-based pins, this has a glossy finish.

This pin was designed for New York Comic Con 2023, with a black ooze drip and glow-in-the-dark ink. It was available by playing our mystery pin giveaway.

CGC 10 — BFF Deadpool & Wolverine

This pin is actually a set of two pins! Available at San Diego Comic Con 2024 and New York Comic Con 2024, this design mimics the Best Friends necklace featured on the official film poster for the Deadpool & Wolverine film.

To celebrate 25 years of CGC, this pin was given to show submitters in 2025. A silver plated pin for the Silver Anniversary, this pin featured CGC’s original logo from 2000.

Beginning in 2026, this CGC pin was given to select comic-centric show submitters and features the current logo for the company.

Rarity: Ultra Exclusive

Styled like a vintage science fiction comic, this pin is exclusively for submitters of three or more shows on the 2026 Pin Tour. The pin is silver-plated with a launching rocket ship, CGC logos, an interstellar view, and “Into the CGC Verse!” text. This pin has a unique texturing that gives a dimensional shape to the puffy contrails.

2026 CGC Pin Tour — Slab

Rarity: Ultra Exclusive

This pin is a sign of a BIG CGC fan. Collectors would only receive this silver-plated pin if they have completed the 2026 Pin Tour. This required submitting collectibles for grading at all six major comic shows and showing the six show exclusive pins for redemption. Modelled after CGC’s industry-leading comic book holder, this slab pin was graded a Gem Mint 10.

2026 CGC Pin Tour — Combined

Rarity: Ultra Exclusive

This two-pin set is exclusive to collectors who completed the 2026 Pin Tour. Comprised of both the comic pin and the slab pin around it, together these pins look like a CGC-graded comic on a small scale.

This pin is exclusive to the pin giveaways at Fanatics Fest 2026 and The National 2026 and modeled after the back of the 1909-11 T206 Honus Wagner card, featured in the CGC-graded Grails Showcase. The design captures the vintage feel of the card and prominently displays the “Sweet Caporal Cigarettes” text.

Here comes “The Great One”! This pin is exclusive to the pin giveaway at Fanatics Fest 2026 and pays tribute to the autographed 1979-80 Topps #18 Wayne Gretzky rookie card on display in the CGC-graded Grails Showcase. Featuring Gretzky’s player number “99” and the Edmonton Oilers colors, this pin is a prized goal for hockey fans.

Mickey Mantle

Rarity: Ultra Exclusive

Exclusive to the pin giveaways at Fanatics Fest 2026 and The National 2026 to celebrate the CGC-graded Grails Showcase, this pin celebrates the 1952 Topps #311 Mickey Mantle Type 1 card, mimicking the card’s background color and autograph box while incorporating “The Mick” nickname, his player number “7”, and replacing the Yankees logo with “HOF” (Hall of Fame).
