There are many classic comics from Marvel and DC found in ComicLink’s Fall Featured Auction ending on December 3, 2024, including a spectacular selection of early Spider-Man keys certified by Certified Guaranty Company® (CGC®). Among the stupendous standouts of this stellar stock is an Amazing Fantasy #15 graded CGC 6.5 Signature Series - Stan Lee.
Stan Lee, alongside artist Steve Ditko, introduced Spider-Man in 1962 with Amazing Fantasy #15, a comic that revolutionized the superhero genre. Lee wanted to create a hero who felt real, someone readers could relate to: a teenager facing the challenges of life, from school and work to family problems, all while fighting crime. Spider-Man’s debut in the final issue of a fading comic series was a gamble, and it quickly paid off. Over the decades, Spider-Man has grown into one of the most beloved and recognizable characters in the world. From comics to TV shows, films and other forms of media, he has become a cultural icon.
Additionally, there are two more copies of Amazing Fantasy #15 offered in this auction, graded CGC 5.0 and CGC 4.0, as well as an Amazing Spider-Man #1 graded CGC 5.0.
