A Rayquaza Gold Star graded CGC Pristine 10 realized more than a million dollars in a recent Fanatics Collect auction, becoming the highest-selling trading card game (TCG) collectible on the entire platform. The legendary card was just one of the thousands of CGC-certified TCGs, sports cards, and non-sports cards that were sold through the Fanatics Collect marketplace in August 2026.
The Rayquaza Gold Star, Pokémon (2005) EX Deoxys Holo graded CGC Pristine 10 realized a lofty $1,020,000 in Fanatics Collect’s Premier Auction, which ended on August 28. This card, which earned the only Pristine 10 grade in any third-party grading company’s Population Report, joins six other CGC-certified cards that have surpassed $1 million, including four other Pokémon cards (all showing Pikachu) and two vintage sports cards. (Go here to read more about the Rayquaza and here to see the full list of cards that sold for more than $1 million.)

Additionally, a Charizard, Pokémon (1996) Japanese Base Set No Rarity Symbol – Holo graded CGC Gem Mint 10 and certified by CGC x JSA as signed and sketched by Mitsuhiro Arita with a grade of Auto 10 realized $348,000 on August 28. This is the highest-graded example of a No Rarity Charizard that is signed by Mitsuhiro Arita, the legendary artist behind some of the Pokémon TCG’s most beloved cards. It is now the second-highest selling CGC-certified Pokémon card on Fanatics Collect’s platform.

Meanwhile, a coveted Topps Baseball redemption card featuring dual Logoman patches and a special autograph with a "Back to Back MVP" inscription broke the record for the highest price ever paid for any CGC-certified sports card sold through the Fanatics Collect platform. The 2026 Topps Chrome Redemption Cards #BTB-AJ Aaron Judge - B2B Dual Gold Logoman Autograph certified CGC Authentic realized $900,000 in a Premier Auction on August 28.
NBA champion Karl-Anthony Towns of the New York Knicks recently revealed that he was the buyer of the Judge Dual Logoman, which was confirmed in a post by Topps and Towns on social media. The historic collectible contains not one but two unique gold MLB logo patches, which are only worn by players who have earned top honors — MVP, Cy Young, or Rookie of the Year Awards. As Judge's inscription on the card states, the patches represent his back-to-back MVP Award-winning seasons from the past two years.

Another sports highlight from August is a 2008-09 UD Exquisite Collection Inscriptions Dual Autograph #DIN-KM Michael Jordan/Kobe Bryant certified CGC Authentic, which realized $408,000 in a Premier Auction on August 28. An epic card featuring two of the NBA's most legendary players, Jordan and Bryant each added an on-card signature to the collectible in blue ink. Bringing together arguably the two most dominant players of their generations on the same card, only 10 of these Exquisite dual autos were ever created.
